 Nathan Benavides | Choral Director

Nathan Benavides has been teaching choral music for 14 years at the middle school and high school level. His choirs gave gained consistent success through-out his career.  In 2015, Mr. Benavides was named the Head Choir Director at Paschal High School. In 2019 his Tenor-Bass choir was invited to perform at TMEA. Mr. Benavides has a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from the University of Texas-San Antonio. He also received his Master's Degree in Conducting from Long Island University-CW Post under the guidance of Dr. Mark Shapiro in 2015. He is a member of ACDA, TCDA, and TMEA and enjoys singing professionally with local churches and chamber ensembles, adjudicating, and mentoring fellow musicians. He is excited to be an interim conductor for the Coppell Community Choir working with their chamber ensembles. His boxer, Cadence, serves as the official mascot of the Paschal Choir Department.

Trevlyn Nipper | CHORAL DIRECTOR

Trevlyn Nipper has been teaching for 19 years and has served as Associate Director of Choral Activities at Paschal High School since 2011. During her tenure at Paschal she has seen consistent sweepstakes with her choirs. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Ouachita Baptist University. Mrs. Nipper had the pleasure of performing the 1995 TMEA All-State Choir and credits that experience as cementing her desire to be a choral director. She is a member of  TCDA and TMEA, and is currently serving as the Region 5 Vocal Division chair. She enjoys performing with area choral ensembles when schedule allows, and spending time with her husband Nate, and three children, Finley, Graham, and Heath. 

Paschal Voice Staff

Voice lessons rates through FWISD are $17 for 22 minutes. Rates may vary when taken outside school.
